How to make sago pudding step by step
- 1. First wash the sago thoroughly and soak it in water for 2-3 hours. This will swell it.
- 2. Now put desi ghee in a pan and heat it.
- 3. Add cashews, almonds and raisins to it and fry it till it becomes light golden and take out separately.
- 4. Add soaked sago in the same ghee and fry 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
- 5. Now add 2 cups of water and mix well.
- 6. Sago will start to become transparent and soft in a short time.
- 7. Now add sugar to it and keep stirring well. The sugar will dissolve and become completely juicy.
- 8. Then add cardamom powder and saffron.
- 9. Now cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes so that the pudding becomes thick.
- 10. Finally add roasted dry fruits and mix.
- 11. Take your instant sago pudding ready.
- 12. If you want, then garnish by adding a little more dry fruits.
