Ghevar is not only the traditional dessert of Rajasthan, but now its sweetness has spread all over the country. In the month of Sawan, its demand is at its peak. The markets of Farrukhabad are also not untouched by this. Here the scent of ghevar at sweets shops is pulling everyone towards them. Ghevar of Raju Mishthan Bhandar located near Farrukhabad railway station Tirahe is in discussion these days. The shop operator Raju Batham says that his grandfather started making this dessert and this tradition has been going on since then. This ghevar, once sold for Rs 250 per kg, is still maintaining the same taste, now it is prepared from pure native ghee for Rs 300 kg. About five types of ghevar are found at the shop, whose taste is being liked by customers from the district as well as Mumbai.

Special technique, special taste
Raju Batham says that the specialty of his ghevar is its construction way, which makes it different from other shops. Crowds of customers and sweets with ‘line’ suggests suggest that no taste is compromised. As soon as Sawan comes, artisans start making ghevar day and night, so that all customers can get freshly fresh taste on time.

When the ghevar is ready, attractive topping of special creams, pistachios and dry fruits is added to it, which attracts both its taste and look customers.
