Desi style coconut barfi made of fresh coconut, which has neither ghee nor oil -cream and milk. Sweetness dissolved in dried evils such as bread crumbs, luxurious decorations of pistachios and silver work from above. The taste is such that the heart becomes happy as soon as you eat a piece. Keep in a cold place or fridge, then it remains fresh for 10-12 days.

For Barfi, first take fresh coconut and remove its brown part carefully with a knife. Now cut the white part into small pieces and grind it in a grinder so that the soft saw is ready. Measure it with light hands from the cup so that the measurement remains correct. In this recipe, 3 cups of sawdust are required.

Now put this coconut bad in a thick bottom pan. Note, do not add any kind of ghee or oil to it. Fry it continuously on low heat. All coconut milk i.e. its juice will dry slowly. This step is very important so that there is no moisture in Barfi.

When the coconut is frying well, the burden will start falling lightly like bread crumbs and will not stick to the spoon. This is an indication that the coconut has become completely dry. Now you can consider it ready for the next step.

Now add fresh cream and milk to this dry coconut. If you do not have cream, then you can use 4 cups of milk powder and ½ cup milk. Fry it well while stirring it continuously on a low-to-media flame so that the cream is mixed well in the coconut.

Now add 2 cups of sugar to it and keep stirring again. In a short time the sugar will start melting and the mixture will become thick. When this mixture starts sticking to the spoon and the wire -like conditions start coming, then the time has come to set Barfi.

Now turn off the gas and overturn this hot mixture in a tray with ghee already with ghee or butter paper. With the help of a spoon or spatula, level it from the top. After 5-6 minutes, when it cools down slightly, cut it in a square or diamond shape in the desired shape.

After cutting, decorate the barfi with pistachio or silver work. This enhances both its taste and look. This barfi is fine for 5-6 days in the cold place, 2-3 days in summer and if you keep it in the fridge, then it tastes for 10-12 days.
