The ingredients required to make oats pudding
- Oats (rolled or instant): 1 cup
- Milk: 1 liter (full cream or which is at home)
- Mishri or sugar: as per taste
- Cashew-Badam: 8-10 (chopped)
- Raisins: 1 teaspoon
- Cardamom Powder: Half Spoon
- Country Ghee: 1 teaspoon
- Saffron: Some threads (soaked in milk)
First of all, add 1 teaspoon of ghee in a pan. When the ghee becomes slightly hot, add oats to it and fry it on medium flame till it becomes light golden. This will taste very good in Kheer and rawness of oats will also be gone.

Now put milk in a deep pot and keep it to boil. When milk starts boiling, add roasted oats to it. Let it cook on low flame. Keep stirring in between so that the oats do not stick to the bottom.
3. Add dry fruits
When kheer starts getting a little thick, add chopped cashew-almonds and raisins to it. This will make kheer even more tasty.
Now add sugar candy or sugar as per taste. Mishri fast is the best option. Let it dissolve well.
5. Add cardamom and saffron
When cooking the kheer, when it becomes good thick, add cardamom powder and saffron milk to it. This will make both the fragrance and color of Kheer wonderful.
It contains plenty of fiber, which keeps the stomach full for a long time during the fast. Oats contain carbs and proteins that maintain energy. Dry fruits also provide healthy fat and minerals. Milk and saffron also help in giving natural glow to the skin.
