Arabic leaf pakoras

  • 8-10 fresh Arabic leaves (take large size)
  • 2 cup gram flour
  • 2 teaspoons rice flour (it will make crispy)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mango powder or chaat masala
  • Taste
  • Water (to make solution)
  • Frying oil
  • 1. First clean the Arabic leaves thoroughly. If there is a thick stalk on the leaves, then cut it lightly with a knife and level it so that there is no problem while rolling.

    2. Now add gram flour, rice flour, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, red chillies, turmeric, coriander powder, mango powder and salt and mix.

    3. Prepare a thick paste by slowly adding water. Keep in mind that the solution is not too thin or else it will not stick on the leaves.

    4. Now spread a leaf of Arabic on a clean surface, apply gram flour solution in a thin layer. Then place another leaf on it and then add the solution.

    5. Place 3-4 such leaves on one and keep the solution on each leaf.

    6. Now roll it slowly and wrap it tightly. Press both ends lightly so that the rolls do not open.

    7. Prepare all the roles like this and leave them like this for 15 minutes.

    8. Now heat oil in a pan. Until the oil is heating, cut the finished roll into pieces of 1-1.5 inch thickness with a knife.

    9. When the oil is hot, put these pieces carefully and fry on medium flame till it turns golden brown.

    10. Fry all the pakoras in this way.

    How to do
    Serve these hot Arabic leaves with green chutney or sweet chutney. If you want, you can also sprinkle light chaat masala on top.
