To make roti upma, first cut stale rotis into small pieces. You can do this work by hand or with the help of a knife. After this, prepare for vegetables. You can add onions, tomatoes, green chillies, carrots and capsicum to it. If you want, you can also add green peas and beans.

Heat one teaspoon of oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and cumin seeds to it. Now add finely chopped onion and fry it till it becomes golden. After that add tomatoes, green chillies and other vegetables. Add turmeric, red chili powder and a little salt and mix well.

Now add chopped bread pieces to these vegetables and mix well so that the masala applies well on every piece. Cover and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes. Keep stirring lightly in between. Finally garnish it by adding green coriander over it.

This dish looks very tasty to eat. In this, the taste of bread with vegetables dissolves and gives such a flavor that all small and big people can eat it with fun. Also, it is nutritious because it provides nutrition of both vegetables and bread. In this, you can add any vegetable of your choice. You can add sauses after cooking the vegetable to make it more flavored for children. Put Chile Tomato Sauce, Vinegar, Sejwan Sauce, it will become a desi chowmin for them.
