Thekua: There is a tradition of making Thekua Prasad on the festival of Chhath. It is also called Khajuriya or Thikari. Thekua is prepared from jaggery and flour. There is a religious belief that adding Thekua in the puja thali makes the life of the person happy and the puja is successful.
Dab Lemon: Dab lemon is also included as Prasad in Chhath Puja. Dab lemon is bigger than normal lemon and its taste is sweet and sour. Its size is so large, due to which animals and birds are not able to eat it. Therefore it is considered pure.

Kharna Bhog: On the second day of Chhath Puja, Kharna Puja makes kheer made of milk, rice and jaggery. Along with fasting, Prasad is distributed among the family members.
Rice Laddus: If you want to please Chhathi Maiya and Surya Dev, you can also make rice laddus. This offering is considered to be the favorite of Chhathi Maiya. These are easily made.
banana: It is said that Goddess Chhathi likes banana very much. Besides, banana is also considered a very pure fruit. Therefore, raw banana is auspicious for offering to Chhathi Maiya. During puja, raw bananas are brought home and cooked so that the fruit does not become false.
Sugarcane: Sugarcane plays a very important role in Chhath Puja. The place of worship is also decorated with sugarcane. It is believed that Chhathi Maiya is very fond of sugarcane. Also, no animals or birds sit on sugarcane, hence it is considered very pure.
Coconut: Coconut is also offered during Chhath Puja. It is said that offering coconut brings Goddess Lakshmi to the house.
Suthni: Suthini originates from soil, hence it is considered very pure. Suthni is also used in Chhath Puja. Suthini tastes like sweet potato.
Water chestnut: Water chestnut is hard, hence animals and birds are not able to swallow it. Besides, it is also the favorite fruit of Goddess Lakshmi. Because of its purity it has more importance in Chhath Puja.
