For peas:

  • 1 cup white peas (soaked overnight)
  • 1 tbsp ginger finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • Half a teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • Half a teaspoon chaat masala
  • Salt taste
  • Half lemon juice
  • Green coriander finely chopped
  • Pomegranate (optional)
  • Finely chopped onion (if you want)
Kulcha

  • 2 cup maida
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • Half a teaspoon sugar
  • Half a teaspoon salt
  • Half a teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • To knead lukewarm water dough
  • Delhi style pea making recipe step by step

    1. First soak the peas in water overnight.

    2. The next morning add salt to the cooker and add water and boil it in 2-3 whistles.

    3. Take care not to hug the peas, just cook well.

    4. Now take out the boiled peas in a bowl.

    5. Add ginger, green chillies, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala and lemon juice to it.

    6. Mix well so that the spices mix well in the peas.

    Method of serving pea kulche
