On this day, there is a glut of sweets from house to house, but, the tradition of Baghelkhand region also includes a special dessert which is completely different and unique from other dishes. Here people often prepare kheer made from festivals. This pudding is light, delicious and easy to digest, which increases the sweetness of the festival even more.
According to local beliefs, in Baghelkhand, festivals, worship and events are often divided as prasad. But, many times this offerings are saved. In such a situation, instead of throwing it in vain, people use it to make kheer. Behind this tradition, not only taste and health is taken care of, but it also reflects the thinking of not wasting resources.

In a conversation with Local 18, local resident Meena Dwivedi says that Kheer made from Futa is an important part of the tradition here and people eat it with great fervor. Everyone likes this kheer from children to the elderly. This Kheer gives a unique experience of taste during the festival days and makes the atmosphere of the house even more special.
Recipe for delicious kheer
This kheer is very easy to make. First of all, split a bowl and keep a glass of milk to boil. If the milk starts boiling, then add fruits like almonds, raisins, cardamom cardamom etc. to enhance the taste and cook for 5-10 minutes. After this, add it to it and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes, then add sugar according to taste and take it in a short time delicious kheer.

This tradition, which has been going on in Baghelkhand for generations, is equally popular today.
