This unique type of biriyani Bhendi is built in a shop called Firoz Farsan in Bhendi Bazaar. Apart from this, you will not get this biriyani to see anywhere else in Mumbai. Speaking to Abhijar Saifudhin Local 18, the owner of this shop, he says that since 1948, this biriyani is built here. His grandfather started it. People liked the taste so much that people have been eating it from generation to generation. Apart from this, it makes different types of threads which you can eat for months, including plain puri, masala, fenugree flavor and other types of pudiya.
The method of making it is very different, exactly like its taste. It is made from a khash type of leaf. First, Patra is made from the leaf, which is a Gujarati dish. It resembles a type of dumplings. It is made by mixing buffs or goat meats or chicken. After forming it looks like a vegetable. Seeing its color, people come to the mouth of water. It is eaten pav, roti or like this.
