Material for making linseed sauce

  • Flax seed (flax seeds) – 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic-6-7 buds
  • Green Chilli – 2
  • Dry red chili – 2
  • Tomato – 1 medium size
  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Cumin – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric – A pinch
  • Green coriander – a little finely chopped
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • 1. First take a pan and fry linseed seeds in it for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame without oil. When a little fragrance from these starts coming and starts crackling the seeds, then turn off the gas. Remove it in a plate and let it cool.

    2. Now add one tablespoon of oil to the same pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds start to crackle, add garlic, green chillies and dry red chili and fry it lightly.

    3. After this add chopped tomatoes and cook it for 3-4 minutes so that it becomes soft.

    4. Now add a pinch of turmeric to it and mix. After this, turn off the gas and let this spice cool slightly.

    5. Now add roasted flaxseed in the mixer jar. Then add this tomato-garlic spices, salt and lemon juice and make coarsely chutney. If needed, you can add some water.

    6. Now take out this prepared chutney in a bowl and garnish by adding green coriander over it.
