In a conversation with Local 18, Lucky Verma, who runs this stall, said that it has been 20 years since he sells chickpeas here. His popularity remains intact even for so long and this is the biggest achievement of this place. Every customer who comes here does not forget the taste once after eating and comes back again and again.
The biggest feature of Annapurna Pandit ji’s chickpeas is the use of domestic spices. Lucky Verma uses fresh spices prepared at home to make her chickpeas, which makes the taste of chickpeas very different and wonderful. Here, along with chickpeas, Rajma is also served, which makes this dish even more special. Above all makes green chutney, fresh butter, cheese and lemon tempering plate not only delicious but memorable.
