When Local-18 tasted the GC dairy and talked to Honor Om Sharma, he said that this dairy was started in 1965 by his grandfather Ghulam Chandra. Om Sharma is the third generation operator who is carrying forward this taste tradition of his grandfather. Om Sharma said that the people of the city used to live in search of pure country butter. Seeing this need, his grandfather started plain butter made of cow and buffalo milk.

Gave unique taste and shape to special butter made from milk
This butter is prepared for a bill and then mixed with saffron, cardamom and dryfruits and a special sweet taste and shape is given. This piece of butter is given to the customers by placing it on the plate, which people eat on the go. Sharma said that about 15 to 20 kg of butter is prepared daily, which makes about 500 butter ticks.

The GC dairy has become famous not only for Jaipur but for this special taste of butter around the world. Sharma said that big names like Chef Ranbir Brar and Australia’s famous chef Gary Megan have also praised the flavors here. Initially, the price of this butter piece was only 1-2 rupees, which has now increased to 25 rupees. Om Sharma said that this journey started with a piece of butter made by his grandfather, today special Srikhand, Lassi, Rabri, Butter Sandwich and other dairy products have reached. This is the reason that tourists visiting Jaipur do not return without taste.
