To make gravy Arabic, first boil Arabic well, but do not cook much or else it will become very soft and will break into the gravy. Peel the boiled Arabic and cut it into large pieces and fry lightly so that it remains soft as well as crisp. After this, heat some oil in a pan, add cumin, asafetida, onion, ginger-garlic paste and fry. Then add tomato puree and cook well. After this, add red chili, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala and a little kasuri methi. These spices make the gravy delicious and bring richness in it.

Now add fryed Arabic to it and mix well in the spices. After that add water as per the need so that the gravy can be prepared. Allow the gravy to cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes so that the taste of spices in Arabic is well absorbed. Finally, sprinkle a little green coriander over the top and if you want, you can also add a little lemon juice. This dish can be eaten very well with roti, paratha or rice.

But keep in mind, there are some common mistakes that do not forget. For example, putting Arabic directly into the gravy without boiling, or cooking excessively so that it mashes and makes the gravy thick and sticky. The second mistake is – adding less spices or faded tempering, which makes the taste fade. If you take care of these small things, then your gravy Arabic will become excellent.
