Ingredients to make Thepla:
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Besan – Half a cup
Fenugreek leaves (finely chopped) – 1 cup
Curd – Half a cup
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
salt to taste
Oil – to knead and bake
First of all, add wheat flour, gram flour, turmeric, red chili, cumin powder and salt in a large bowl and mix well. Now add fenugreek leaves and ginger-garlic paste. Add curd and some water and knead the dough. The dough is not too tough nor too soft. Cover the dough for 15 minutes. Now make small dough and roll it down and bake it on the pan. Cook from both sides until golden.
How to serve:
You can serve hot thepla with curd, pickle or chutney. If you want to take it on the journey, then pack it after cooling, they do not spoil for a long time.
