Materials required to make glowing

  • Milk – 1 liter (full cream)
  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Water – 3 cups
  • Chinese – 1 cup
  • Saffron or cardamom powder – as per taste
  • Rose water – 1 tsp (if you want)
  • Pistachio or almonds – to decorate
How to make Chamcham Paneer?

  • 1. First boil the milk well. When milk comes to a boil, then slow down the gas.
  • 2. Now add lemon juice to it and keep stirring continuously. In a short time, the milk and the water will be separated.
  • 3. Sieve it in a muslin cloth or cotton cloth and add cold water on top so that lemon sourness comes out.
  • 4. Now tie the cloth well and hang it so that all its water comes out. After 20-25 minutes, the chhena will be ready.
  • 1. Remove the chena in a plate and mash it thoroughly and soften it. The more mashed the more, the better it will be.

    2. Now make small oval shape shells from it. If you want, you can also give light long shape.

    Now prepare syrup

  • 1. Put water and sugar in a vessel and keep it on the gas.
  • 2. Cook it until the sugar dissolves well. You do not want wire thick syrup, it will be ready as soon as a boil comes.
  • 3. Now add saffron or cardamom powder to it so that there is a slight fragrance in it.

    • 1. Put the prepared chisel shells in this syrup.
    • 2. Keep the gas medium and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes.
    • 3. Keep putting the syrup on the sphere with a spoon in the middle so that it is cooked well from everywhere.
    • 4. After cooking, turn off the gas and let it cool in the syrup itself.

    How to decorate?
    When the Chamcham becomes well cooled, take it out in a serving plate. Sprinkle rose water on top and garnish with pistachios or almonds.
