This shop was started by Loknath ji in 1952. At that time, he used to sell only lassi on a small cart. But on the basis of hard work and taste, this shop has become the identity of Ghaziabad today. The special thing is that the same traditional desi method is still adopted at this shop.

Lassi here is very special. It is served in an earthen ax. The layer of thick cream, ground saffron and almond decoration from above makes it absolutely royal. In summer, there is a line for lassi only from morning.

Milk cake of Loknath sweets is made from desi milk. It is cooked on low heat for hours, due to which its color is thick and taste is very special. This is the same taste, people who now miss even in big brands.

The manager of the shop says that now sweets are sent from here to America, Canada, UAE and Australia. Sweets order comes from here for special opportunities like weddings, Teej-festivals or election meetings.

VIP movement is common at the election season or any festival, Loknath confectionery. Many times big leaders and film stars have also come here and enjoyed sweets and lassi.

Now this shop is running the third generation of Loknath ji. The family itself monitors the quality of sweets and sweets are made in the traditional way. Perhaps this is the reason that even after seven decades, the taste here remains the same as it was in childhood.
