Cumin – ½ tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Salt – as per taste
Water – as required (to tie a mixture)

Gravy making materials:
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Cumin – 1 teaspoon
Onion – 1 (finely chopped or grated)
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp
Tomato – 2 (puree)
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Salt – as per taste
Water – as per need
Green coriander – for decoration

Recipe step-by-step:

Make koftas:
First of all grind the rotis in a mixer. Add bread sawdust, gram flour, onion, chilli, coriander, cumin, garam masala and salt in a bowl. Make a soft mixture by kneading with a little water. Make small koftas from this and deep fry or fry them until it becomes golden and crispy. Keep the fryed koftas on the paper towel.

Prepare gravy:
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and fry, then add onion and fry till it becomes light golden. Now add ginger-garlic paste and cook for one minute. Add tomato puree and fry until the oil starts separating. Add all dry spices (turmeric, chilli, coriander powder, garam masala) and salt. Add water to the gravy as needed and let it cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.

Mix and serve:
Put the fried koftas in the gravy just before the serving. Cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes so that the koftas become lightly softened in the gravy. Sprinkle green coriander on top and serve hot with rice, paratha or chapati.
