Recipe
To make the dal tadka at home, take gram dal in a vessel according to the most family members. Then put it in the pressure cooker. Apply 3 to 4 whistles on medium flame. As long as the lentils are boiling, prepare the tempering. After this, put pure mustard oil or ghee in the pan. Drink asafetida, cumin, bay leaf and red chili in it. Add green chili and finely chopped onion and fry until the onion color turns brown.
Now add tomatoes and cook for a while. Then add turmeric, coriander, red chili powder and salt and cook for a while and then add garam masala. After this, add lentils. Cook for a while. Add ghee and whole red chili. In this way your lentils will be ready at home. This process of 15 to 20 minutes is done. When cooked completely, turn off the heat. After removing it, add coriander leaves finely and add it. After this, serve the family members. Must add ghee on top.
