Method of preparation:
1. Peel and cut bananas:
- Take raw bananas and peel.
- Cut like thin round chips. The more thin, the more crisp will be made.
2. Make turmeric-cum solution:
- Take water in a bowl.
- Add salt and turmeric to it.
- Soak slices of chopped banana for 5–10 minutes. This will also make the color good and light taste.
3. Sukhana (Optional):
- Place the soaked banana slices on a clean cloth or tissue and take dry and dry.
- You can dry them even by running a fan, so that their water dries completely.
4. Frying:
- Heat oil in pan.
- Put a little banana chips in hot oil and fry on medium flame till it becomes golden and crisp.
- Remove the tissue on paper so that excess oil comes out.
5. Cool and store:
- Allow the chips to cool down completely.
- Then you can store in airtight compartment and store for 2–3 weeks.
