Jaggery – 200 grams
Tamarind – 100 grams (seeds and fibers)
Sweet plum powder – 100 grams
Roasted cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
Red chili powder – ½ teaspoon
Black salt-½ teaspoon (do less by taste)
Grown sugar – 4 to 5 tablespoons
Water – 5 to 6 teaspoons (not to pour too much)
How to Candeblane Hajmola –
-First take a non-stick pan (jaggery can stick to the common pan). Add jaggery to it and cook on low flame till melting. Keep stirring jaggery in between so that it does not burn.
Now add red chili powder, black salt and roasted cumin powder. Mix everything well and cook on low flame for 2–3 minutes. When the mixture becomes slightly thick, turn off the gas.
