Material
Peanut – 1 cup
Sugar – 3/4 cup
Water – 1/4 cup
Ghee – 1 tbsp (for smoothness)
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Silver Work – Optional (for decoration)

Method
step 1: Fry peanuts and fry the peanut on medium flame in a pan before the peanuts. When the peanut skin becomes crisp and a light golden tone comes, then turn off the gas. Now cool the peanut and remove its husk and make a fine powder in the grinder. Keep in mind that do not grind for too long or else oil will start leaving.
Step 2: Making sugar syrup, now put 3/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of water in a pan and keep it on the gas. Cook it on medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely and there is no stability of a wire in the syrup. That is, if a wire starts to form between the finger and the thumb, then the syrup is ready.
Step 3: Mixing peanut powder now slowly add peanut powder and keep stirring continuously so that no lumps are made. Also add cardamom powder and 1 tbsp ghee.
Step 4: While stirring the mixture thick, cook this mixture until it starts leaving the pan and starts to tie it together. This stage is very important, only then the katli will be good.
Step 5: Setting now grease a plate or tray with ghee and spread the prepared mixture in it and spread it equally. If you want, you can also apply silver work from above. Let it cool for 10–15 minutes, then cut it into the desired shape – square or diamond shape, like you want.
