No hair sweets! This rabri of Almora is also famous, which has been doing the rule of people for 80 years

Almora: Almora of Uttarakhand is not only known for its beautiful litigants and famous child sweets, but also for another special taste. There is a story of a sweetness in this city, which is about 80 years old and people come from far and wide to taste. Located near Hookah Club in Almora ‘Abhinandan Sweet House’ Rabri is such a combination of taste and tradition which has been on people’s tongue for years.

80 year old taste still persists
The shop owner Inder Singh Bisht says that his father started making Rabri and now he is carrying forward this tradition. Earlier this rabri used to be made only in winter, but now even in summer, its demand is so much that every day is made and all is sold by evening. If you want to taste this rabri, then you have to reach the shop before evening, otherwise you may have to wait till the next morning.

The taste is such that people pack

Shopkeeper Bisht says that people do not come here and do not only eat rabri, but also pack it and take it along. Recently, some tourists from Rajasthan did not taste Rabri by tasting Rabri. At present, Rabri is being sold ₹ 440 per kg. Due to lack of milk, only 8 to 10 kg is prepared every day.
