The taste of the hot pancake is relaxed to the mind between the rainfalls of the rainy season. These soft pancakes made of wheat flour, fresh yogurt and honey give a special feeling of warmth and taste in every bite. They can be made even more tasty by adding honey, fresh fruit or peanut butter. From children to elders, these perfect monsoon treats for all.

The fun of eating hot pancakes in the rain is different. For this, 1 cup of wheat flour, half cup fresh curd, quarter cup milk, 2 tablespoons honey or jaggery, baking powder, baking soda, salt and ghee.

Add wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon to a bowl and mix it well so that the pancake is bloated and tasty.

Add curd, milk, honey and vanilla essence to the second vessel and whisk it. The curd should be fresh in the rain so that the taste is not sour.

Pour the wet mixture slowly into the dry material. Keep it smooth and light thick. Very thin batter will not allow pancake to swell properly.

Keep the prepared batter covered for 10 minutes so that baking powder shows the effect and become even more soft.

Put ghee on the hot pan and put the batter. Cook on low flame till the bubbles come, then turn it over. Bake on both sides until golden.

Eat honey, fresh fruit or peanut butter on these soft pancakes in the rainy evening. If you want, you can make it even more healthy for children by adding bananas or apples to it.
