In the month of Sawan, devotees of Lord Shiva follow the fast of fast. Most people eat traditional fruits during the fast, but if you want a change in the variety of fruit, you can try sago chila.

If there is anything to be made in a short time, then it is cheela. Children also like it very much and elders too. Sago cheela is made very easily. Many people also eat this cheela during the fast. Save the recipe for making tasty and healthy cheela.

First of all you need a cup sago (soaked 4-5 hours). To make it, one needs a boiled potato, two teaspoons finely powdered peanuts, finely chopped green chillies, one teaspoon of lemon juice, finely chopped coriander, ghee, rock salt as per taste, a teaspoon of cumin seeds and water (to make a solution).

Wash the sago and soak it in water for 4-5 hours or overnight. When the sago becomes soft and mashed when pressed, remove the water. Add soaked sago and mashed boiled potatoes in a mixing bowl. Add green chili, rock salt and coriander to it. Add a little water to everyone and prepare it like a thick batter. If you want, you can also add 1-2 teaspoons of kuttu or water chestnut.

Heat the griddle. You can take non-stick griddle or you can use an iron pan by making it non-stick. Put a little ghee on the pan and spread the batter layer on the pan with a shirt. On medium flame, roast from both sides till it turns golden. If it is crisp, take it off.

First of all, roast a little peanut lightly and grind coarsely in the mixer. Put a little water in this peanut powder and keep it aside. Now place a pan on the gas and add half a teaspoon of ghee, finely chopped a green chilli and coriander leaves. Now add peanut paste. Add rock salt as per taste. Keep stirring it for a while. Your sauce will be ready. Serve peanut chutney with sago cheela in the plate. You will keep licking fingers as soon as you eat it and will be able to take care of both taste and health on the fast.
