During fasting in the holy month of Sawan, the mind many times to eat light and delicious breakfast. In such a situation, sago fries can be a perfect option. This recipe is full of taste as well as energy and is fully fit according to the rules of fasting. Let’s know the easy way to make it.
Material:
Sago – 1 cup
Boiled potatoes – 2 medium sized
Rock salt – as per taste
Green Chilli-1-2 (finely chopped)
Cumin – half a teaspoon
Green Coriander – 2 teaspoons (finely chopped)
Black pepper powder – half teaspoon
Arrowroot or water chestnut-1-2 teaspoons (for binding)
Oil – to fry
Before the first, wash the sago thoroughly and soak it in water for 4-5 hours or overnight. After getting wet, remove its water and keep it to dry for some time so that the extra moisture comes out.
Now add soaked sago in a big bowl and mash boiled potatoes to it.
-Mix all the things well. If the mixture looks slightly wet and there is difficulty in making shape, then add arrowroot or water chestnut flour to it. This will bind the mixture well.
-Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add sago fries one by one on medium flame and fry till it becomes golden, crisp.
