This is the real secret of taste
Vishal Kumar, who sells this pakora, says that he has been making it for the last ten years. To prepare it, first gram dal is soaked in water overnight. The next morning the lentils are not into the mixer but on a traditional silbatte. The aroma and taste that comes in the lentils by grinding on the silbatta cannot come from the mixer.
(Pakora Kaise Banaye) This mixture of lentils is made in small round shape and fried in hot mustard oil. The dumplings are served with fried green chili and pungent-khatti chutney. On seeing this, people’s appetite increases. The taste is such that everyone keeps licking fingers. The price of this special Bara Pakora is Rs 10 per piece. Its shop is crowded with customers throughout the day. This shop is next to the TD College intersection, about one and a half kilometers from Ballia railway station. One who once eats dumplings from here, he cannot live without returning again
