Add semolina and curd to a bowl and prepare a thick but smooth batter by mixing some water. Add salt, chopped green chillies and coriander to it and cover the batter and keep it for 10-15 minutes. Now heat a little oil or ghee in a small pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves to it. When the mustard starts crackling, turn off the gas and put it in the tempering batter. Now add eno or baking soda to the batter and mix lightly with hand. As soon as the foam starts rising, immediately put the batter in the idli mold and steam on medium flame in a pre-hot steamer for 10-12 minutes. When the idli is cooked, add a toothpick or knife to it and check it hot. One -time batter will have a packet of eno. Rava is not very thick or very thin, take care of it.

Serve the semolina idli with coconut chutney, tomato chutney or sambar. It is liked by everyone from children to elders and is also perfect for diet or light dinner.
