Recipe to make instant makhane bhog (focus makhana):
Material:
2 cups of makhana (focus)
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon chaat masala (if you like)
Salt taste
1 tablespoon crushed nuts (cashew, almonds) – optional
A little green coriander (for decoration)
Method of preparation:
Heat ghee in a pan.
If the ghee becomes hot, add cumin seeds to it, when it starts crackling, add turmeric.
Now add makhana and fry it on medium flame for 5-7 minutes, keep stirring in between so that the makhane does not burn.
Add salt and chaat masala to the roasted makhana and mix well.
Add dry fruits and fry for 1-2 minutes (if putting).
Turn off the gas and decorate it by adding green coriander.
Now your instant makhana is ready, apply it to Lord Krishna. This enjoyment becomes quick and is very light and nutritious.
