A.K. located at Station Road, Firozabad For the last twenty years in front of the Inter College, Mama’s Chant Papdi has been being handed over. Premchand, whom people know by the name of maternal uncle, told that he started it with a hawker. Earlier, he used to sell chant papdi by roaming around in the streets and mohallas of Shikohabad. His specialty is that he prepares Chant Papdi with pure domestic spices. It adds homemade papad, boiled potatoes and ground spices of the house. This is the reason why people find the taste of this chant papdi something different and special.
Start with 3 rupees plate
Premchand alias Mama, who sold papad chant in Shikohabad, said that he started this special chant with just Rs 3 per plate. In the initial days, he used to sell it in the mohallas. Later, he did A.K. on Station Road. Put his hand in front of the Inter College, from where his chant Papdi gradually became famous. Today this chant is selling at Rs 25 per plate, but the taste is the same old. Whoever tastes the taste of this chant once comes back again and again.
