At first glance, this dessert looks as simple as it looks, the more sweetness and flavor is included within itself. This dessert made from wonderful materials like Khoa, Malai, Coconut, Raisins, Cardio, Cardamom and Cloves does not look less than a royal dish in terms of taste. When the milk is cooked with tearing and the luxury that comes out of it, it takes birth from that, this special dessert, Chandrakanta.
Vikas Kumar, who prepared this dessert, says that Chandrakanta is not just sweets, a treasure of taste. The shop adorned on his small cart in Rosda has now become a hideout of every taste. Every day more than 250 people come to taste Chandrakanta and there is only one thing on everyone’s tongue, such a taste is not found anywhere. The special thing is that this dessert is not found in every shop, so whoever eats it once again comes back behind this taste. Local people say that this dessert of Rosda is no longer local, but has made an identity across the district. Be it a festival, marriage or any special opportunity, Chandrakanta sweets are first demanded. Vikas says that the recipe of this dessert is traditional, but the way of making is very special. This is the reason why the taste is such that once the tasting does not forget it. Many customers come to Rosda only for Chandrakanta. The sweetness that remains in the mouth after eating it, it forces everyone to come again.
