Hartalika Teej Special Gujiya Recipe: Hartalika Teej definitely makes gujiya in the form of offerings. Although there cannot be a lot of changes in its recipe, but by taking care of some small tips and tricks, perfect crispy Gujia can be prepared. These will not be torn, neither sweet and neither very hard or very soft.

On the festival of Hartalika Teej, women keep a fast and worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. On this special occasion, the offerings of sweets are considered very important in worship. Gujiya Hartalika is one of the traditional cuisine of Teej, which is made with love and reverence. Its taste not only enhances the importance of worship but also dissolves sweetness with the family. Let’s know the easy method of making Gujiya.

To make Gujia, it is necessary to first prepare flour and mawa. For this, take 2 cups of maida and add 4 tablespoons of ghee to it and knead a soft dough. Now take 200 grams of mawa, ½ cup finely chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios), ½ cup ground sugar and 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder for the stuffing. If you want, you can also use coconut sawdust to enhance taste. Knead the flour with lukewarm water and add some water. Apply soft flour and keep it covered with wet cotton cloth for a while. However, once you start making Gujia, see that the flour does not dry, otherwise Gujia will be torn.

Now offer the pan on the gas and add mawa to it and fry it on light flame. When the mawa becomes light golden and aromatic, cool it. Add dry fruits, ground sugar and cardamom powder and mix well. Your stuffing is ready. If you grate the khoya first, then there will be no lumps and it will be easy to fill.

Now make small dough dough dough dough and roll them and prepare them in a small shape. Keep a spoonful of stuffing in the middle of each puri and bend the edges lightly with water and bend. Close by pressing with fingers or forks on the side of Gujia, so that the mixture does not come out while frying. Until these Gujhiyas are frying, keep covering and keeping it.

Heat enough oil or ghee in the pan and fry the prepared gujiya in it till it turns golden on medium flame. Keep turning Gujia slowly so that it becomes crisp and golden from all around. After frying, remove them on the sieve and remove the extra oil. The correct oil temperature is very important for frying Gujia. Always fry it on medium heat, not sharp, nor slow.

Cool the prepared Gujiya and decorate it in a plate. Offer them as offerings in the worship of Hartalika Teej and later taste it with family and relatives. It not only increases the importance of worship but also dissolves sweetness in mutual relationships.
